The set photo competition in August was “Patterns in Nature” and this proved a popular theme, judged by well-known photographer Francis Keogh.
Gold winners in Div. A were Krysia St Clair with “Forest in a Rock Pool” and Shirley Gunter’s photo “Tree Trunk”.
The Gold Award in Div. B went to Katherine Wagner for “Nature’s Cubby Holes”.
The Silver Awards in A were Krysia St Clair “Heart of a Protea”, Deb Flynn for “Antelope Canyon” and Rosy Williams for “Swamp Foam”.
Silver winners in B were Helen Watson, “Snow Gum”, and Sue Lawson, “Sand Trees”.
In the Open category of any subject the Gold Awards went to Div. A. Deb Flynn for “Red Umbrella” and Silver went to Kevin Budds for “Resting” and Michelle Merry, for “Stop Following”.
Gold was Awarded in B Div. to Graham Harding for “Tirta Empu -Holy spring”, taken on his travels.
The NCC promotes Prints as well as digital photography. Winners this month were: Gold to Shirley and Brian Gunter and Silver to Rosy Williams.
The NCC welcomes visitors to monthly judging meetings where people can share ideas and special skills.
