A man is due to appear in Queanbeyan Court on Thursday, September 13, after being extradited from the ACT charged with numerous offences in the Batemans Bay area earlier this month.

Police allege at about 4.45pm on Wednesday, September 5, a man was involved in a domestic argument at a Catalina home with a woman who was known to him. They allege woman was assaulted and her handbag stolen during the fight.
A short time later, police allege a unit at Surf Beach Avenue, Surf Beach, was broken into and the male occupant was allegedly assaulted. A 60-year-old woman who lived in a nearby unit tried to intervene as a man drove off.
She was hit by a car and left with suspected leg and pelvic fractures. A bystander came to the woman’s aid.
A man drove away from the area and was last seen in Tasman Street at Surf Beach after the car he was travelling in hit a gutter.
Police from South Coast Police District commenced their inquiries to locate an alleged offender.
Earlier on Wednesday, September 12, NSW Police were advised that a 29-year-old man was being released from a Canberra hospital.
The man was held by virtue of an arrest warrant and conveyed to a Canberra Court where NSW Police sought his extradition.
He was then taken to Queanbeyan Police Station and charged with numerous offences including aggravated break, enter and commit serious indictable offence, aggravated steal from person and assault (DV).
He was refused bail.
The man was refused bail to appear at Queanbeyan Local Court on Thursday 13 September 2018.
