Celebrations began immediately after the final siren, as fans and family joined the players on the field to sing the club song.
The best moment of the aftermath was former Lion Rowan Hawkey getting his Bob Murphy moment during the presentation ceremony.
Hawkey missed the entire season after being run over by a crane during the summer, but stayed involved with the club in a coaching capacity.
Head coach Jason Sauiluma gave Hawkey his premiership medal during the presentation, a symbol of how much Hawkey means to the players.
The team was also spotted on Sunday at the Eurobodalla Football Association grand final in Dalmeny to cheer on their team mates Simon Mackie and Zac Martin in the Men’s All-Age grand final.
