Lake Mummuga looked good, as did Lawlers Creek to the sea between Dalmeny Camp Ground and the southern end of Brou Beach. After Mummuga Head the group followed the pathway along Ocean Parade, through Cresswick Cove and onto Dalmeny Beach and out to Yabbara Point and the whale watching platform.
After not seeing any whales the group rejoined the pathway which runs beside Yabbara Beach and strolled past the Golden Cypress Pines which is a good coastal tree as it tolerates exposed conditions.
The trees form a row on the beach side of the road at Duesburys Point and Duesburys Beach and looked good. The group reached the open look of Kianga Beach and Lions Park with a short stroll to Antons for a drink stop and returned the same way, thanking Kerren Ogg for the beautiful and enjoyable 12 km walk.
