The annual Tailwagger’s Walk organised by the local branch of the Animal Welfare League (AWL) was held at NATA Oval Narooma last Saturday with rescue dogs and their owners all joining in the fun and festivities.

President of the Eurobodalla Animal Welfare League, Clare Hooper said she would like to thank the people of Narooma for supporting Tailwagger’s last week.
“Although there were not as many dogs as the previous year, the atmosphere was fantastic and I think a great time was had by everyone.
“We raised almost $1000 the rehoming of unwanted companion animals and were also able to find a home for one of the puppies for our sister branch, Far South Coast,” she said.
This year the Eurobodalla branch of the Animal Welfare League (AWL) was supported by other branches.
One of the AWL directors from Aaron Heiler of Jervis Bay brought his rehomed greyhounds Sweetie and Stella with him to attend the Tailwagger's Walk.
“We have five more greyhounds looking for a home," he said.
Results from the Tailwaggers Walk competitions were the Happiest Dog was won by Naomi Stefan with little Lucy.
The Best Pure Breed was Dorothy Hugh with Sahdoe.
