There was no walk on Thursday, October 11, as rain made the climb up the track to Peak Alone too slippery for bushwalking.

There was no walk on Saturday, October 13, as some Dalmeny Narooma Bushwalkers are preparing to travel to Eden where they will stay at Edrom Lodge and go bushwalking in Ben Boyd and Mount Imlay National Parks.
They intend to spend three days exploring the Light to Light walk from Green Cape to Boyds Tower.
The walk will cover all the lookouts, caves, scenic views and historical artefacts along the many tracks.
Pulpit Rock, Bittangabee Bay, Hegartys Bay and Saltwater Creek are all very scenic with beautiful rocks.
Mowarry Point is good to explore and provides good views up and down the coast.
Jacket Bay has nice scenery and is one of the beaches close to Boyds Tower.
Burrawang Road will provide access to the Mount Imlay walking track, and on top of Mount Imlay there will be coastal views.
National Parks have tidied up Mount Imlay Trig Station to enhance the views.
Another walk is the Bundian Way which has excellent views of Twofold Bay and can be combined with the Eden Lookout Walk which provides a different view of Twofold Bay.
More information about bushwalks organised by the Dalmeny Narooma Bushwalkers can be found on the website, www.dalmenynaroomabushwalkers.info. There you will also will find a range of local bushwalks.
The club was established in May 1986 to encourage bushwalking as a group activity and new members are always welcome.
The aim is to keep it simple and affordable and offer walks of varied grades, while promoting fun and friendship.
