He met Enid Marks and they married in 1961, with two children, Trevor and Donna. The family moved to farm on the banks of the Murray, at Jingellic, in 1969, then moved again in 2002, this time to Narooma, where Phillip purchased Whale Coast Realty.
Phillip was actively involved in community activities throughout his life, including 23 years as Holbrook Shire councillor and a member of the hospital committee, Apex and Lions clubs. He enjoyed the company of locals and visitors alike.
Ill health saw him sell the business in 2014, to retire at Dalmeny. Phillip passed away at the Moruya Hospital on October 28. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.
