Finance workers from across Australia headed off from Canberra on Thursday morning to kick off their eight-day journey, riding through Narooma on Saturday and Batemans Bay on Sunday.
The charity ride aims to raise vital funds for young Australians on the fringe in the ninth annual Wheel Classic fundraiser for the Future2 Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA).
Almost 1,000km will be covered over eight-days of riding from Canberra to Sydney. A group of finance professionals and support crew will head into the spectacular Snowy Mountains to stop overnight in Cooma and Jindabyne, before winding down the South Coast to Merimbula.
Riders will then pedal north through Narooma, Batemans Bay and Wollongong before finishing at the International Convention Centre in Sydney before the opening of the 2018 FPA Professionals’ Congress on November 21.
