Tuesday, September 24: From 11am-1pm, the community can meet members of the police force at Evans Park, Tuross Head. Vehicles will be on display, crime prevention brochures and a sausage sizzle. All are welcome.

October 5-6: Thread Connections - an exhibition of exquisite embroidery, Saturday (10am to 4pm) and Sunday (10am to 2pm), Bodalla Memorial Hall. Fibre Fest film screening
Saturday, October 5: Mary Meets Mohammad. Come and enjoy this beautiful, heart-warming film - in Twist Factory style - which follows the arrival of Tasmania's first detention centre through the eyes of local Christian woman and knitting club member Mary and Muslim Afghan Hazara asylum seeker Mohammad, who is detained inside the centre - as they connect through the gift of a knitted beanie. Doors open 4pm, film at 5pm. The Twist Factory, Hopkins Place, Narooma. $10 a head.
Marine Rescue open day
Sunday, October 6: Tour Marine Rescue Bermagui's base and rescue boat from 11am.
There will be a BBQ, raffle, rescue vessel tour, base tour, jet ski demo, promotional trailer and kids activities.
