Narooma Drug & Alcohol Hub

Community members can test their knowledge of drugs and alcohol at the Drug and Alcohol Info Hub currently on display at Narooma Library until January 11.​

Join staff at the library for some fun activities such as a standard drink demonstration and pouring challenge, a beer goggle demonstration and mocktail-making displays.

Christmas Holiday Writing Challenge

Students in years 10, 11 and 12 are encouraged to submit an essay to be in the running for $500 cash, with second place will taking home $100 cash and third prize receiving one of five sets of books from NLA Publishing.

To be considered for entry essays are required to have a ‘Growing Up in the 1950s and 1960s’ theme and have a maxiumum 2000 words. Winning essays will be published in South Coast History Society's Recollections history magazine..
