With two children, eight grandchildren and umpteen great-grand children, Mrs Gresty had 54 guests to wish her well.
Mrs Gresty has been part of the Dalmeny community since she and her late husband Bill retired there from Melbourne in 1981.
The Gresty’s became very much a part of the bowls community, Mrs Gresty holding down all the positions of office at Dalmeny Women’s Bowling Club over the years.
She was also an active member of the Laurel Club and still supports Legacy. Bill fought in WW2 in New Guinea and died 13 years ago. “He was eight years older than me”, Mrs Gresty said.
Now retired from bowling, these days she spends time with her best friends Margaret Houston and little Shitzu, Mitsi.
