This is the first registration day for the year - a time when we welcome all dogs, puppies over three months, and their owners to our branch of the NSW Animal Welfare League.
We also look forward to seeing old friends who return with their pooches for another year of training, competitions and the chance to win awards.
How do I join?
Registration begins at 1pm at Nata Oval, which is located behind the Visitor Information Centre, on the Princes Highway Narooma.
All new participants must bring pet vaccination papers, doggie poo bags, treats, and a collar and lead for their dog.
It is hot weather, so wear loose clothing and a hat.
Sturdy, closed in shoes are a must – no thongs please!
We provide buckets of water for our canine friends, and a water and sunscreen station for people. Classes begin at 2pm and last one hour.
What’s new?
This year NDTC is adding Rally O Training with Instructor Carol Low to our regular Obedience and Agility classes.
All forms of training present wonderful opportunities for canine socialisation.
Your pup will learn how to behave around other dogs and people, and in a crowd - very important if you want to confidently take your dog to the local café!
Teaching a dog to sit, stay and return when called will help keep it from harm, and NDTC’s experienced Instructors can help with problems such as barking, jumping up and aggressive behaviour.
All classes aid in the development of a strong and lasting bond between handler and companion dog.
Plus we have lots of fun and meet like-minded new friends.
Join us! For more information including fees, please ring Carol on 0458 953 281.
About us
Narooma Dog Training Club welcomes all dogs and puppies over 3 months of age. Obedience classes are wonderful opportunities for dogs to socialise, which is just as important for them as it is for us humans.
They learn to be around other dogs and how to behave in a crowd. They also acquire good manners when it comes to interacting with people.
Keeping your pet safe is very important so teaching a dog to sit, stay and return will help keep it from harm. Our experienced Instructors can also help with problems such as barking and aggression.
All excellent reasons why you should bring your dog to obedience classes this year.
