The winners of the two man ambrose competition was David Webster and Andrew Whittaker by the smallest margin one quarter of a stroke from two other teams.
The music and chatter on the way home showed everybody enjoyed the day.

Bermagui Men
Results for Thursday, February 7 - Stableford
Noel Flavell came out firing today with 40 points to win A grade. Peter Wilton was runner up on 39 shading Neil Rutherford on 34 points.
B grade had Rob Gammage take the win with 39 points. Second place in B after countback to Jim Manton shading Graeme Struthers both on 38.
The C grade winner was Les Atlee with a best of the day 41 points. Then followed Bill Beaumont on 36 and Charlie Bennett on 35.
Results for Saturday, February 9 - Stableford
The A grade winner was Paul Revill returning home with 38 points.
Runner up in A was Winston Fowler with 37 points shading Bill McKenzie on 36.
B grade was taken out by Rocky Lagana with 40 points. Second in B to Paul Rumble with 31 points shading visitor John Henry on 37.
Martin Fowler had success with a win in C grade scoring 40 points. Runner up after a countback was Arnold Watson edging birthday boy Tony Stenhouse both on 37 points.
Club News
• Our Pennants Teams played the second round on Sunday 10th at Bermagui Golf Course. Bermagui Division 1 team defeated Catalina 3 and 2 and our Bermagui Division 2 team defeated Catalina 5 and 0. The Pennant rounds continue next Sunday at Mollymook Golf Course.

Narooma Ladies
The Narooma Ladies Golf Season for 2019 commenced on Monday, February 4 with a Stableford Competition and the Winner of Division 1 was Trace Mitchell with 38 points and Margaret Brown won Division 2 with 28 points.
The NTP Winners were Chris Fader on 3rd Hole for Division 1 and Mary Young on 9th Hole for Division 2. The Ball Competition went to 28 points.
On Wednesday, February 6 we played our official Welcome Back Stableford Competition.
The Winner of Division 1 was Dorelle Monteith with 36 points and Jan Shevlin was Runner Up with 32 points ocb.
The Winner of Division 2 was Trish Bennett with 32 points ocb from Runner Up Vicki Connaughton.
The NTP Winners were: Sylvia Donohoe on 9th (Div1), Dierdre Landells on 14th (Div 2) and Helen Ellis on 17th (Div 3). Ball Competition to 26 ocb. A fabulous afternoon tea was enjoyed by the ladies to finish the day.
Bermagui Ladies
Results for Wednesday, February 6
Twenty ladies played for the first monthly medal for 2019 and the winner was Lynn Ponsford with a very nice 71 nett playing of an 18 handicap. Well done Lynn.
The winner for the division was Maggie Hayes (7) with 77 nett and runner up on a countback was Anna Blacka (27) also with 77 nett.
Balls went to Cherie Rudneski ((19) and Sandy Chamberlin (18) both with 81 nett, Trady Howarth (36) and Pat Jones (18) both with 82 nett, Marion Calder (13) 83 nett and Brenda Whiffen (23) had 85 nett.
Nearest the Pin on the 11th was Trady Howarth and on the 15th Maggie Hayes.
Least number of putts was Marion Calder with 30.
Results for Saturday, February 9
Thirteen ladies played in a stableford event on Saturday. Winner Lynn Ponsford (17) had 29 points and runner up Tradie Howarth (36) had 28 points. Balls went to Denise Flavell (23) and Anna Blacka( 26) both with 26 points. Marion Calder (13) 25 points.
Results for Monday, February 11
Thirteen ladies played in the Monday 9 hole Beige Course stableford competition and the winner was Janice Aldred (23) with 25 points. Balls went to Jenny Williams (22) with 20 points, Wendy Chaplin (16) and Trady Howarth (16) both with 19 points.
Narooma Golf Club
Thursday, February 7
In very hot conditions 150 players took to a course which featured some challenging pin positions, with a resultant DSR of 73/72.
In A Grade Scott Ker went round in three under par to register the outstanding score of 40 points off his handicap of 1. Darryl Stuckey from Royal Canberra headed Greg Riley on countback with 37 points to take second place, while Bill Swan and Clive Williamson missed out on the placings on countback.
In B Grade Terry Evans from Northern in Melbourne recorded the highest score of the day with 43 points off his handicap of 17, three better than Hal Fraser and five better than Chris Eardley.
C Grade was taken out by John Punnett with 38 points off his handicap of 31, followed by John Gregs on 37 points and Alex Gardner on 35 points. The nearest-the-pin winners were Geoff Lanham on 3, John Murray on 9, Ken Adams on 14 and Tony Ings on 17, while the ball competition went down to all on 32 points.
Saturday, February 9
A field of 128 players took part in the first round of the annual par competition where the DSR resulted in a consistent 71.
A Grade was taken out by Ken Brown from Moruya with plus 2 off a handicap of 12 on countback from Jackson Taylor.
Justin Bennett took third place with plus 1 on countback from Doug Morey and Richard Goodridge.
In B Grade the countback favoured Chris Eardley with his score of plus 4 off a handicap of 16 over Les Campbell.
Tim Short finished in third place with plus 1 on countback over Gordon Roberts.
In C Grade again a countback decided the winner, this time in favour of Tanya Desmond over Grahame Cooke with a score of plus 2 off her handicap of 33.
Ian Lowe took third place with a score of square.
The nearest-the-pin winners were Rex Dunn on 3, Meridie Banson on 9, Michael Turner on 14 and Chris Hollingworth from Joondalup on 17, while the ball competition went down to all on minus 2.
Tuross Head Ladies
What a beautiful day for golf and that’s just what the 16 ladies at Tuross did on Tuesday when they played in a 2 bbb aggregate stableford event.
The winners were Leonie Snodgrass & Kay Lunt with a combined score of 61 points.
Balls went to Dorothy Madden, Marie Mapleson, Gail Rogers, Lyn Benger and Pauline Nash.
Nearest the pin on the 6th was won by Gail Rogers. The Golden hole in division one went to Kay Lunt and in division two it was Dorothy Madden.
Next week the ladies will play in a single stableford event.

Just over 100 veteran golfers stepped out on Thursday, February 7 with the three grades virtually on par in terms of results as evidenced hereunder:
