A group of 21 hikers started from Anton’s Restaurant in Kianga, and followed a pathway to the northern breakwall of Bar Beach.
They followed Bar Beach in the inlet while looking across at Australia Rock. From here, they walked past the picnic area, and joined the Mill Bay Boardwalk.
The hikers saw plenty of fish, both big and small, and one large stingray while walking along the boardwalk.
They continued up Williamson Drive and Eastaway Avenue before using a bush trail to get back to Kianga Point.
The group finished back at Anton’s for a cuppa, and thanked Jan Thomas for leading the six-kilometre walk.
