Narooma High School students are on their way up to the nation's capital to show cattle in the Canberra Royal Show this week.

Up against some of the agriculture industry’s best, 18 students will be attending the show with 11 animals in multiple categories over the weekend.
“We have bulls, cows, heifers and steers – they all should do well,” Scott Negus said.
When packing some final gear on Tuesday, students said they were excited to camp at the showground over the next 5 days.
“I absolutely love show season, it is the best time of year because you get to hang out with your mates and show cattle up against the best of the best,” Yolande Thompson said.
“I hope we bring lots of ribbons home too,” Georgie Brown said.
Agriculture teacher Kylie Maher said the school is very competitive and looks forward to see students show cattle.
“I am really proud them, they have put a lot of work in over the years and to get the cattle up there for the Canberra Show this week is such a great effort,” she said.

Ms Maher also thanked the many sponsors for their support. Once again, students have qualified for the Sydney Royal Easter Show in April and are hoping to add another first prize ribbon to the collection.
