She was part of the team that dominated Melbourne 112-0 in the opening round with the Queensland Reds backing up over the weekend against Western Australia.
"It was good to get the first hitout as a team against Melbourne," Boyle said. "We really just stuck to our structures and set pieces which worked out well."
A year on from having shoulder surgery, Boyle said she came away from the game unscathed.
"I didn't really worry too much about my shoulder once the game started and it pulled up well, so I'm really happy about that."
Boyle said she was relishing the play out of the back line.
"[It's awesome] linking up with our open side flanker Shannon Mato and number eight Kiri Lingman in the back row," she said. "We have a classy back line and I'm really looking forward to seeing them put on a good performance into our game against NSW this weekend."
The Queensland Reds are sitting comfortably atop the ladder after two rounds of the five week women's draw.
However, Boyle said it wasn't as easy as the 28-3 scoreline might suggested on Saturday after WA had "put in a massive defensive effort and we had to work hard for the win".
The Reds face the Waratahs at Leichardt Oval on Saturday.
