Dalmeny Narooma Bushwalkers started from the middle lookout on Haywards Beach on Thursday, March 7 and followed the Montreal Path to join up with Camel Rock Road which leads to the next lookout of Camel Rock.

A group of 23 walkers then followed the coastal track to Murunna Point with its fabulous views of Wallaga Beach and Lake and Gulaga National Park with Mount Dromedary outlined by the beautiful deep blue sky.
Walkers enjoyed morning tea before leaving to follow the old farm trail to the trail that runs beside Beauty Point Road, and onto Beauty Point Reserve.
Following the shoreline, the group made their way around to Fishermans Bay and the old puddling machine, which was used to break up the clay, sand and gold.
Walkers avoided the mine holes and used the logging track back to Camel Rock Brewery where Jo Jean Mairet and Jan Thomas were thanked for the exciting and beautiful bushwalk.
On Saturday, March 9 the Dalmeny Narooma Bushwalkers parked beside Potato Creek and crossed the bridge, before following the creek to Potato Point Beach, walking the beach to Jabarrah Point for the first of many scenic coastal views.
The next highlight was Blackfellows Point before walking South Tuross Beach. Walkers then followed the shore line along Tuross River and climbed the old trail to Blackfellows Point Road.
From there they attempted to find Potato Point Lake but settled on Potato Creek for lunch before returning to the cars and thanking Michael Mc Donagh for the 9km bush and beach walk.
