Thousands of students around Australia took part in The School Strike 4 Climate.
More than 70 Moruya High School students, combined with pupils of Moruya Public School, marched to the Eurobodalla Shire Council Chambers to present a letter.
A large crowd of supporters followed.
This is our voice, and we are hoping that you listen

Year 12 student Mallee Smith presented a list of demands: more public transport, more bike paths, less parking lots, solar panels at schools, electric car charging points at petrol stations, and to see council use efficient energy.
"This is our voice, and we are hoping that you listen," Mallee said.
General Manager Catherine Dale accepted the letter and said: "Thank you very much, we will take this seriously into consideration."
Eurobodalla Shire councillor Pat McGinlay joined the march and expressed his support.
"I am with you," Mr McGinlay said to the crowd.
