On Wednesday, May 15 at Ultrafox will bring their own style of swing to the Whale.
Ultrafox was formed 10 years ago by guitarist Peter Baylor and has grown in reputation as one of the finest swing bands around.
"The band seeks inspiration from the famous 'manouche swing' of the Hot Club of France featuring Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grapelly of pre-war Paris.
"Ultrafox's music is characterised by the hard driving swing of gypsy style acoustic guitars, laced with lyrical yet fiery soloing.
"Our repertoire creates an atmosphere of swing and dance tempo jazz," Mr Baylor said.
Joining Ultravox on their May 2019 tour is guitarist, Jon Delaney and bassist, Jono Brown.
Ultrafox have a new CD out, their third, "Nocturnal blues". Play the Whale Motor inn, Narooma on Wednesday, May 15.
