45 shooters turned up to participate under ideal autumn weather conditions. The targets were very testing, and some shooters really struggled while others recorded some very impressive scores.
A long straight away and a very quick downhill crosser were the bug bear of most shooters present.
Barry Dunn from Cooma won the morning slab of shells raffle, while Mark Lazzaro from Sale won the chance to shoot for the $200 jackpot prize and powdered the eight compulsory targets.
Chris O'Dea was the very happy recipient of the U-beaut Benny's meat tray. Maxine Murray was the lucky door prize winner and took home four boxes of shells.
Visitors and locals alike showed their appreciation for the office staff, barbecue ladies, set-up crew and sponsors, which are just some of the thankless day-to-day jobs which have to be done.
Our next shoot is Grumpy's Challenge which is always a top day.
If you want to enjoy a great day of Sporting Clays, get out to the range on May 26.
