South Coast Police have charged two men after they were detected in an allegedly stolen vehicle in Narooma on May 1.

Police said at about 8.40am on May 1, officers sighted two men in a Mazda CX9 parked in Field Street, Narooma.
Police approached the car and arrested a 23-year-old man, with the other person fleeing in the vehicle.
The 23-year-old man was taken to Narooma Police Station and charged with being in a stolen vehicle and possessing ammunition.
At about 11.35am, police said they located the alleged driver of the vehicle and car at Honeysuckle Camp Ground, Narooma, and arrested him.
The 27-year-old driver was charged with several offences: "drive conveyance without consent of owner; (four counts of) drive motor vehicle during disqualification period; dishonestly obtain financial advantage by deception, and resisting police."
He was also charged with possessing a prohibited drug, and three outstanding warrants.
The 27-year-old male was refused bail and will appear at Batemans Bay Local Court on May 6.
The 23-year-old man was released on bail after appearing at Batemans Bay Local Court and will reappear on May 16.
