Narooma Surf Club celebrated another successful season, congratulating members for their outstanding achievements at the annual presentation night on Saturday, May 25.

Club members, patrol members and their supporters were treated to a sumptuous feast by Narooma catering company, Mr Bold. Musician Steve Benic provided live entertainment throughout the evening.
President Ben Bate thanked members for an outstanding season with no major incidents and over 2500 hours of volunteer patrols which did not include training, nippers or competitions.
He mentioned the hours given up by volunteers would informally exceed 4000 for the season.
Members who achieved results at carnivals were awarded their championship medals and members who had excelled in assisting the club were also recognised.
The male junior life saver of the year was awarded to Aiden Miles and the female junior life saver of the year to Elli Beecham.
The senior life saver of the year awards went to Nigel Constable and Ayron Patmore while Troy Beecham was awarded the club person of the year for his outstanding effort.
The final award of the night was the president's award which was given to the Beecham family for their efforts and achievements this year.
The emcee for the night, club captain Troy Beecham, said he was looking forward to another successful season after the winter break. He thanked sponsors of the club and the local community for the support they have given.
