Narooma Ladies
Last Monday and Wednesday (3rd and 5th June), Narooma Lady Golfers held their Foursomes Championships with 30 Ladies participating in this annual event.
The Division 1, 2019 Foursomes Champions are Sylvia Donohoe and Kay Lawrence with 172 gross. The Runners Up were Jayne Hotchkis and Jan Shevlin with 191 gross.
The Nett Winners were Jenny Walker and Kath Roberts with 169.
The Division 2, 2019 Foursomes Champions are Lorraine McCarthy and Marg Bennett with 210 gross. The Runners Up were Ris Cheale and Chris Mathews with 217 gross.
The Nett Winners were Marion Brooks and Robyn Giblett with 158.
Narooma Men
An excellent field of 150 players, swollen by a number of visitors, enjoyed pleasant conditions with a resultant DSR of a consistent 72. In A Grade Terry O'Callaghan was victorious with 39 points off his handicap of 13, followed by Graeme Sawyer on 38 points and Chris Fox from Wagga Country who edged out Rory Kleeman on countback with 37 points. B Grade was taken out by Mark Falconer with the best score of the day of 41 points off his handicap of 15, followed by Mike Shevlin who headed Bernie Krueger on countback with 39 points. In C Grade Preston Cope finished on top with 40 points off his handicap of 24, three better than Alan Lynch. John Matthews took third position in a four-way countback on 36 points ahead of Norm Baxendale, Steve Cummins and Don Crotty from Mollymook. The nearest-the-pin winners were Bill Durnan on 3, Robert Ackling on 9, Hal Fraser on 14 and Terry O'Callaghan on 17, while the ball competition went down to all on 32 points.

Country Club - Men's Golf Results
Results for Thursday 6th June 2019 - Stableford
The A grade winner today was Neil Rutherford (hcp 9) with 40 points. Runner up was Lindsay Sharp (hcp 12) with 39 shading visitor Luke Rich (hcp 4) who scored 36.
Peter Buttrey (hcp 21) had the win in B grade with 39 points. Next was Bill Tyson (hcp 19) with 38 shading Nick Stolk (hcp 17) who had 36 points.
Max Luland (hcp 34) finished with a best score of the day 43 points to win C grade. Then after a countback Len Murphy (hcp 27) was runner up edging Dave Webster (hcp 22) both returning on 40 points.
Results for Saturday 8th June 2019 - Stableford
The A grade winner today was Anthony Hart (hcp 9) scoring 39 points edging Derek Quinto (hcp 12) on 37 points. Then followed Tocumwal bound Denis Myers (hcp 12) on 35.
Grant Jessop (hcp 16) had the B grade win with 36 points. A countback placed Rocky Lagana (hcp 17) as runner up edging Peter Buttrey (hcp 21) both scoring 34.
Scott Thomas (hcp 35) from Windsor Golf Club won C grade with a best score of the day 41 points then came the quiet achiever Jochen Adam (hcp 30) on 40 and Gerald Wright (hcp 23) with 38 points.

Bermagui Ladies Golf
The Bermagui Ladies played their June Monthly Medal on a cold, wet and windy course this week. The Medal was won by Pat Jones handicap 18 with 81 nett. 1st Division winner Lynn Ponsford handicap 14 with 82 nett just missed out on her 4th Medal of the year! Lynn won on a countback from Elsbeth Cripps handicap 26. Trady Howarth handicap 36 nett with 82 nett won 2nd Division on a countback from Jan Heaver handicap 31 - Fiona Hanks handicap 31 also on 82 nett won a ball.
NTP's ist Division 6th M.Hayes 2nd Division 8th L.Manton 2nd shot 15th B.Whiffen Least amount of putts won by our wonderful and still competitive 93 year old Norma Heddles with 30 putts.
Saturdays Stableford was won by Narooma Visitor Tanya Desmond handicap 30 with 31 points on a countback from Elsbeth Cripps handicap 26. A visitors trophy donated by Sharon Wilder was won by Jenny McIntyre. NTP 11th Chris Fader.
Tuross Head men
Saturday June 6. Tuross Head Country Club men golf golfers competed in a single stableford competition this week. Chris Cox was the winner with an excellent score of 41stableford points. Allen Gannon filled second placing with 38 points followed by David Schmid 37 and Paul Medwin and John Englitis who both returned cards with 36 points.
Nearest the pins were won by A grade player Leigh Coloe on the 4th hole with 3.85m. L. Lowe won the 6th with 2.72m and Mitchell Smith was best on the 7th with 3.50m. B grade golfer Herb Muriwai was closest on the 4th hole with 7.54m. Bruce Brawn was awarded the 6th with 3.10m and Ian Manton the 7th with 4.17m. Chris Cox was the closest of the C grade group with 2.45m on the 4th hole and Michael Godford was the winner on the 6th with 4.65m.
Thursday stableford medley winner was Peter Garn with 35 stableford points ahead of David Schmid 34 points. Peter Nikolic and Bruce Lidbury both finished on 33 points. Nearest the pins were won by Colin Houghton, Bruce Lidbury and Trevor Jones.
