Eurobodalla Libraries coordinator Donna Lawrence said Ms Chater would help participants find inspiration and offer practical writing tips.
"We know there are plenty of people out there in our community who have fascinating stories to tell," she said.
"This workshop motivates participants to put pen to paper, whether it's for publishing, to share with family and friends or just to reflect on in years to come."
The Eurobodalla Shire Council said the workshops would be held from 10.30am-12pm at Moruya Library on Monday, June 17, Batemans Bay Library on Tuesday, June 18, and Narooma Library on Wednesday, June 19.
