No leads - not a single trace of clothing or any items he was carrying have been found.
Since the dementia sufferer left his aged care home in Dalmeny on the South Coast, on July 7, 2016.
His family has organised numerous searches.
His daughter, Nikii Smith is travelling down from her Muswellbrook home to run a third-anniversary search this Saturday, July 6.
Ms Smith intends to keep her promise of finding her father, whether it's his remains or belongings he was carrying when he disappeared.
"I would love to find the jar of humbugs or the big gold tin of Rawleigh's cream, just to know we are heading in the right direction," she said.
Mr Speechley was carrying a glass jar of humbug lollies, a tin of Rawleigh's antiseptic cream and his wallet. They have never been found.
Before he disappeared, he had been talking about Wollongong, where his family lives.
He was in respite at IRT's Dalmeny Care Centre.
Police have been told a man similar in description to Mr Speechley was seen on the Princes Highway, Dalmeny, shortly after 4pm on the Thursday he disappeared.
Police have appealed for the driver of a red/maroon car, similar to a Honda Accord to contact Crime Stoppers, 1800 333 000.
The car was seen stopped on the side of the Princes Highway around 700 metres north of where Mr Speechley was last sighted.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of medium build with grey hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing jeans and a dark jacket with a pyjama top underneath.
His daughter continues to search in bushland near where he was possibly last seen.
"I couldn't imagine him hitching a ride," she said.
"But, until we find the owner of that car we can't rule it out."
