Organisers said more than 1000 people from up and down the coast visited the event to join in the family fun.
Eurobodalla Shire Council's community development officer, Jordan Nye, has had a role in NAIDOC Week celebrations over the past five years. He said there had been a huge shift towards unity and reconciliation in the community.
"A day like this just tops it off," he said.
"There has been a lot more involvement from the non-Indigenous community, and to see the strength of the event grow in such a big way has been great."
Mr Nye said it was special to see non-Indigenous people engage in traditional dance at Monday's flag raising ceremony.
"It's not just dancing to us; it's a connection to Mother Earth, our ancestors and long line of stories.
"It has been great to see non-Indigenous come up and dance with us and feel what it's all about."

The national NAIDOC theme, voice, treaty, truth, is celebrated through traditional dance, art, food, yarn and more.
"Through this year's theme we can celebrate the voice of our people through language, stories and history," Mr Nye said.
Mr Nye said the theme also acknowledged and celebrated "the rights for our people and truth about our history".
"It's about coming together and focusing on those three important aspects of NAIDOC Week," he said.
