I had my patience tested ... I'm negative!
Theresa Matthews, the owner of the Mogo Lolly Shop, put in an application for a grant of $94,000 funding through the "My Community Project" program for an additional disabled/elderly access toilet facility at Mogo and it has made it through to the voting stage.

After finding that the application has been successful so far, she has since found that only residents of Bega electorate are eligible to vote for the application.
There are only two grants to be allotted per electorate.
With only one store here in Mogo she is going to find it hard to let the greater area of our shire know of this opportunity to vote and get this funding for the disabled and elderly bathroom.
So, Theresa needs our help to get a new facility which is wheelchair and elderly friendly at Mogo.
The current facility in Mogo which is defined as "disabled accessible" is inadequate!
Everyone has the right to the use of a bathroom in a dignified manner.
There is also nowhere for a baby or toddler to be changed unless they are laid on the front lawns which is totally unacceptable.
The link for the grant voting is found at: www.mycommunityproject.service.nsw.gov.au. We are in the Bega electorate and our project is named Mogo Public Toilet For Disabled/Elderly and Parents.
Please help our community to help others by voting.

Happy birthday to handsome man about town John Meyer, owner manager of Totally Equipped 4WD. I'll bet it's cup cakes all round at Broulee this Saturday with all of the great cooks in your family!
Ladies who "High Tea" all got together at Surf Beach for a delicious afternoon of scones, brownies, petite sandwiches, champagne and chocolate ... as well as about 10 other delicacies. TAFE's High Tea got us all in the mood and so now we are planning on meeting up regularly to "High Tea" at a different house each month or two. So June Waddell, Betty Rixon, Zelma Rixon, Helen Westman, Cheryl Fenton, Dawn Simpson, Rae Butt and Ann Mikalat will all be heading off to weight watchers ... but it was so worth it!
Happy Birthday to gorgeous Leeanne McConchie from Broulee who is home again after a few weeks working in Perth. Welcome back Leeanne.
