The park also includes a climbing frame, fun slide, spinning carousels, swings, barbecue and picnic table.
The Eurobodalla Shire Council said the Mogo Recreation Park was a space for the whole community to give visitors a place to stop, rest and play.
At the official opening on Thursday, August 8, Ms Smith said the mural, painted on the amenities building, was inspired by her cousin, Kizzy.
"Kizzy said I should do family circles. It's like a big family journey, coming through Mogo and coming together. It's symbolic of childhood and of now, and it represents all of us," Ms Smith said.
Mogo Local Aboriginal Land Council representative, Sherrie Nye, said she was over the moon, describing the new park as "too deadly".
"It's so important for kids to have outdoor play and learning space," Ms Nye said.
The council said the village had seen kids fighting over two lone swings, "but no more".
Mogo local Amiirah, who turned seven yesterday, cut the ribbon to open the new park with help from Auntie Gloria and Mayor Liz Innes.
It followed a smoking ceremony performed by Mogo's Adam Nye.
Children from Mogo Aboriginal Pre-School and Mogo Primary School attended the launch.
Council's director of community services and recreation Kathy Arthur said for her, the standout feature of the project was the collaboration between the Mogo community and the council.
"We've got a brilliant result that meets community needs and celebrates the whole community and our local Aboriginal culture," Ms Arthur said.
The council said the new park was a product of working closely with Mogo businesses, school and the Mogo Local Aboriginal Land Council.
