More than 130 pigeons were sent down to Lakes Entrance and Darcy and Brenda drove down in the AMH Ute to release them at 10am.
They encountered heavy rain and strong winds, slowing them down. Some birds didn't return till the next day.
Mario 'Muz' Magrin's birds decided not to go on with sightseeing this week and go home instead. Probably after such an arduous journey.
Muz edged out Gozo for first finally. Mario Magrin 1st, Manny Byrne 2nd, Graham Ford 3rd.
