Narooma CWA
CWA Narooma has been busy in August. The choir/drama group presented items at the Far South Coast Group Music/Drama/International Day at Quaama Hall, August 19. Host for the day was Sally James, who filled the gaps with snappy one liners. A few days later, Papua New Guinea was the country Christine Stent, Gero Mitchell and students from Narooma Public School helped CWA learn about at the international afternoon tea. Members of the Narooma branch thank Mrs Cross and Mr Henry for supervising and organising the amazing projects students displayed.

Five men disappeared in October 1880 including Surveyor Lamont Young who had just arrived in Bermagui to survey Montreal goldfields. Their bodies were never found, only their boat near Mystery Bay. Meet at the Bermagui Headland (between Horseshoe Bay and Bermagui River) ready for a prompt 10am start. There are three stops before Mystery Bay. Bring your lunch. Car essential.
Vinnies Narooma
The Narooma Centre now has two donations bins placed at Bermagui Woolworths, located in their dock area in Sherwin Lane. A special thankyou to Hamish the store manager for supporting the community. A reminder of what can be placed in these bins is; good clean clothing and manchester, but no breakable items please as this is a WH&S (Work Health & Safety) issue. Now that Spring is here the Naroom centre has plenty of summer wear clothing available and a variety of watches to purchase.
