AWL Tailwaggers
The happiest dog was Scarlett, the lab pup. Colouring-in competition winners were, 1st prize Curtis Hinton of year 4-6. Kindy, prep and year one winners were: seven-year-old Lucy and Sophie of St Mary's School, Moruya. The best veteran dog was Jedda, a previous rescue dog. There were too many beautiful little darlings to list and they all shone very brightly on the day. It was all sunshine, fun, games, laughter and joy for both dogs and their people. See you all next September! Photos online.

Narooma CWA
Next August, CWA will have been active in Narooma 90 years. Unfortunately, membership is falling and some members are slowing down. We need some fresh faces, energy and ideas to keep going to 100. September is a more restive month at CWA Narooma, between the Group Day and Branch International Afternoon in August, and the mega garage sale held on the long weekend (Saturday, October 5). October also begins the CWA year with membership fees due and AGM's to be held. If you have ever considered joining, now is the time. Annual fees at Narooma for the next year are $63, which includes dues to State and Group levels. That is less than a cup of coffee each week. The State CWA office has distributed over $15 million in drought assistance funds with every cent going out, this was able to be done with funds in CWA from member fees covering costs of distribution. CWA is so much more than cooking and handicraft, but these are quite often the way funds are raised to cover the other areas of activity. Come and chat with members Friday mornings 10am-noon. To offer any donations for the upcoming garage sale, ring Bernice Gale 44767540 or Joanne King 0408433178.
Men's Shed
Our new website (www.naroomamensshed.com.au) is now up and running thanks to the time and effort that Sarah and Adrian from Fisse Design have donated as a community project to the Narooma Men's Shed. The site is now a great asset to the Men's Shed, and will let all the members and the wider community know what is happening on a daily basis.
