The Winner of Division 1 was Jenny McIntyre (21) with 36 points and Runner Up was Julie Blessington (20) with 34 points. The Division 2 Winner was Lorraine McCarthy (31) with 34 points and Runner Up was Ris Cheale (31) with 33 points. The NTP Winners were Meridie Banson on 3rd Hole for Division 1, Trish James on 9th Hole for Div 2 and Lorraine McCarthy on 14th Hole for Division 3. Ball Competition went down to 32 points.
Also on Wednesday, 14 Ladies travelled down to Eden Gardens Golf Club to participate in their 2019 Ladies Open. All Ladies were encouraged to wear pink and decorate carts and buggies as it was also a Breast Cancer Research Fundraiser Event. Narooma fared well on the day with Sylvia Donohoe winning the A-Grade Scratch with 83 off the stick and Trace Mitchell was the Division 1 Handicap Winner with 77 nett. Narooma won all 3 Longest Drives with Sylvia Donohoe winning Division 1, Bec Smart winning Division 2 and Chris Hendra winning Division 3. The Best Decorated Cart was won by Chris Hendra and Lyn McDonald.

THURSDAY 12th SEPTEMBER
Exaggerated run and sanded and cored greens made for good scoring for the field of 134 players who registered a consistent DSR of 72. In A Grade former member Martin Bell from Mollymook recorded the best score of the day with 45 points off his handicap of 14, six better than fellow Mollymook member Shaun Dickson who went round in one under par off a handicap of 2. Bill Durnan took third place with 38 points on countback from another former member Joel Campbell from The SGA and Greg Riley. Tony Hunt took out B Grade with 42 points off his handicap of 21, followed by three players on 40 points where the countback favoured Paul Davey and Brian Mills with Graham Kerr missing out. In C Grade Ralph Imberger showed that miracles do happen in scoring 43 points from the highest handicap possible while Alex Gardner took second place from Derek Smith on countback with 42 points.
The nearest-the-pin winners were Andrew Thompson on 3, Lloyd McLachlan on 9, Tim Short on 14 and Derek Moritz on 17, while the ball competition went down to all on 36 points.
SATURDAY 14th SEPTEMBER
A field of 136 players took to the course in the Stableford leg of the President's Trophy where the DSR was again a consistent 72. In A Grade Ben Sealey finished on top with 39 points off his handicap of 5 on countback from William Monteith and Brendan Warby. B Grade was taken out on countback by John Beahan from Wentworth Falls with 39 points off his handicap of 20 ahead of Graham Kerr. Garry Ebbeling filled third place with 38 points. In C Grade Warwick Dixon posted the best score of the day with 41 points off his handicap of 35 while Darcy Sealey made it a successful family day with 40 points on countback from Trish James.
The nearest-the-pin winners were Michael Bulbert from Mollymook on 3, John Rimmer from Queenscliff on 9, Rene Faurschou on 14 and Robert Sayers on 17, while the ball competition went down to 34 points.
Bermagui men
Results for Thursday 12th September 2019 - Stableford
The A grade winner was Derek (who me?) Quinto (hcp 12) with a score of 39 points. The runner up was Malcolm Lee (hcp 15) from Bega GC on 37. Then came Neil Rutherford (hcp 10) on 36.
In B grade the win went to John Stichbury (hcp 20) with a best of the day 41 points. Then a countback for 2nd spot put John Jessop (hcp 19) ahead of Greg Cummins (hcp 20) both on 38 points.
A 3 way countback in C grade placed Mark Thomas (hcp 31) ahead of Michael Derbyshire (hcp 24) and Max Luland (hcp 32) all returning with 37 points.
NTP's 6th Malcolm Lee, 8th Derek Nash, 11th Roy Matthews & 15th Noel Haase.
Results for Saturday 14th September 2019 - 4BBB @ Bega
66 players today with 30 players travelling from Bermagui to Bega Golf Club for the final round of the Bega vs Bermagui Shield.
It was a 4BBB competition played in fine spirit and great weather where the best scores were assessed at the finish.
Bermagui were in the lead after the 1st round, which was played at Bermagui on the 3rd August and when the final results were tallied at Bega with some forensic accounting scrutineers, Bermagui were awarded The Bega-Bermagui Shield for 2019. This result made the trip home on the Bermagui Club bus a very high spirited affair with appropriate stops to admire the Bega Valley panoramas.
The best score on the day was returned by Bega's Mitchell Bucholz (hcp 4) and Glenn Boyd (hcp 8) with 46 points. A countback placed Bega's Garry Cooper and Jonathon Kite in second spot shading Derek Quinto and Paul Revill of Bermagui.
Club News:The Bermagui Week of Golf commenced on the 14th September and the Men's Open will be held over the weekend of 21st 22nd September. There are competitions with prizes, and fun in the clubhouse every day of the week. Details available at the pro shop or on the Bermagui Country Club website.
Bermagui Legends Pro-Am. Here is your opportunity to play with a PGA Legend. On Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th October Bermagui will be hosting a round of the PGA Legends Tour. Shotgun starts on both days. There are great prizes to be won by men and lady amateurs. Entry forms available from the Bermagui Country Club office or website.

Bermagui Ladies
Bermagui Ladies Open Weekend 14th, 15th September. The weekend started with an 86 metre shootout with 35 ladies entering on Friday evening followed by welcome drinks and nibblies.
Saturday 14th 18 hole 4BBB Stableford - 46 pairs playing in 2 Divisions.
