Windy weather and passionate protesters painted a powerful scene at the Moruya climate strike on Friday, September 20.
Hundreds of Eurobodalla Shire primary and high school students, parents and community members gathered at Moruya Council chambers as part of the global rally.
Several students took to the microphone to thank those who came to the demonstration and stressed the importance of taking action.
Protesters then marched through Moruya's main street with students shouting "we want change".
Many pedestrians clapped and cheered as protesters passed. Many drivers tooted their horns.
One driver yelled "go back to school".
