EFTAG Art to Wear Parade
The Eurobodalla Fibre and Textile Artists' Group (EFTAG) is once again showcasing Wearable Art in its annual fashion parade. It will be held on Saturday, October 12 at 6.30pm for a 7pm start at St Mary's Performing Arts Centre, Queen St, Moruya.
This year's theme is 'Conscious Couture'. You will see repurposed fabrics, found and used objects, enhanced vintage clothes with a second life, and materials destined for the waste stream. Some garments have been made consciously using natural dyes rather than chemicals, or other fabrics which are environmentally friendly. Some have been made consciously slow, with attention to each stitch or technique.
Be amazed, inspired, laugh and enjoy! Frock up and come and share bubbles, nibbles and the 2019 Art to Wear Parade. Bookings are essential, visit www.eftag.com.au. Seats are limited. There are no tickets at the door.
