The par 72 Bermagui Course was presented immaculately and has become one of the most popular stops on the Ladbrokes Legends Tour. The picturesque course is in exceptional condition, and a credit to the Course Superintendent Dave Thomson and his staff. The pure fairways and fast smooth greens giving a real tournament feel.
The light rain we experienced on both days caused a 1 hour stoppage delay around 2pm on Tuesday. At the closing presentation the pros stood and applauded all of the amateurs who made the decision to continue on playing in the difficult conditions following the rain delay. Ladbrokes Legends Tour chairman Terry Price praised the committee and staff at the Bermagui Country Club and told them how much the Legends Tour enjoys visiting the area. The Bermagui Country Club President Leslie Ashton was presented with a PGA flag signed by all of the professionals.
In the Sunday shoot-out for nearest the pin Queensland's Stephen Woodhead claimed 1st prize with his shot ending 1.5cm from the cup.The Legends tour now moves on to Batemans Bay to play Catalina on Thursday and Friday.
