Marine Rescue Narooma have released a video of a vessel towing a 10-metre trimaran in rough seas on Saturday, October 19.

Narooma Marine Rescue said the vessel had lost her rudder six nautical miles south-east of Batemans Bay.

Their NA30 rescue vessel was tasked.

"Although the seas were rough 20-25 knots winds, with light fading, we towed her to a mooring off Snapper Island with the assistance of BB20," a spokesperson said.

The Narooma crew thanked Batemans Bay for their assistance, who were standing by to assist vessels to cross the bar if required.
