The Narooma Scout Hall was broken into and maliciously damaged between Tuesday and Wednesday, November 5-6.
Members of the Narooma Men's Shed had reported the break in to police.
"They found the front door hanging on its hinges," a police spokesman said.
Specialist forensic police had examined the scene.
Police said $1000 of malicious damage was done to the property and repairs had to be conducted.
