All ages from 13 and above are invited to complete the course and join the surf club to become volunteer lifesavers or to fulfill a role that suits.
Head to the surf club at 6pm on Thursday, November 14, to have a chat with training officer Ben Bate.
Multiple trainers and local paramedics will host the training sessions each Thursday and Sunday over the next three to four weeks. T
imes are; Thursdays from 6pm - 8pm and Sundays from 8am - 10am.
A timed pool swim is also required. For the BM, a 400m swim in less than nine minutes and for the SRC, a 200m swim in less than 5 minutes.
