Hundreds of clubs across the country are involved in the program which is part of the Move It Aus participation grant.
Jack Attack is a short format barefoot bowls competition which is run as a fun, four-week, summer evening activity.
It is a fun and fast-paced format from the traditional form of lawn bowls, aimed to encourage participation with non-bowling members of the community.
The program began on Thursday night.
It was limited to non-bowlers, with players getting the chance to learn a new sport, make new friends, and to get out and be active.
Games last just over an hour with play starting at 6pm.
Players are invited to get along early to have a drink, a bit of practice or catch up with friends old and new.
Teams have come from all walks of life; local business, groups of friends as well as sporting and community groups.
Coordinator Graham Cummins has worked at great lengths to promote the competition and is excited for the next edition in February when both the club's greens will be available.
The club is always welcoming players to come along for a game and get out on the green.
For more information, head down to the club each Thursday night or call Graham Cummins on 0428 569 420.
