Narooma Women
Tuesday, November 19, saw 16 ladies on the green for social bowls. A pairs game and two rinks of triples enjoyed the morning, all endeavouring to be the team with the highest winning margin. Rink eleven emerged with the day's winners, where Mavis Hardy, Merrie Downie and Carol Greenfield played against Betty Greenshields, Ann Nicholls (visiting from Thirroul) and Jean Vos. It was a good contest, but Carol's team won the last three ends to seal the match with a 5 shot advantage and claim the prize.
