Narooma Women
The last bowls day of spring for the year turned on variable conditions for last Tuesday's social bowlers concluding with a strong unpredictable wind. Format for the three triples games was versatility, requiring ladies to play six ends in each team position. Lucky rink was selected and rink ten chosen to decide the winning team where Jenny Coulson, Pam Grant and Leila Gosper (skip) played Clare Cork, Denise Holman and Vicki Herman (skip). Vicki's team skipped away to a good lead in the first half, then Leila's team rallied and put in a strong finish to win by 3 shots and win the day's prize.
Denise Holman was the lucky winner of the meat tray raffle, Leila Gosper took home the lovely fruit tray. Next Tuesday is the last day of Tuesday social bowls for this year.
