Narooma Ladies
The Narooma Ladies Seahorse Classic was played over the previous weekend by 185 ladies in beautiful weather. The winner was Carly Warn from Gold Creek with a score of 154 and our very own Dorelle Monteith winning the Amateur Bowl with a score 140 (170 gross). Other Narooma winners were Vicki Ward, division 3 handicap runner up with score of 71 on Saturday and Julie Melville division 3 handicap winner with a score of 71 on Sunday. Julie was also handicap winner with a nett score of 144. Kath Roberts was division 2 scratch runner up on Saturday with 97 and scratch runner up winner with 197.

On Monday 25/11 stableford was played. Chris Fader the winner with 36 points and Maddie Robinson runner up with 35 points. Balls went to 32. Our Christmas Triathlon Par event was played on Wednesday. Diedre Landells was division 1 winner +4, runner up Tina Wilson with +2 ocb. Ann Durnan division 2 winner +3 ocb from Robyn Giblett. Balls went to -2 ocb.
Narooma Men
THURSDAY 28th NOVEMBER: Very dry conditions resulted in extra run for the field of 141 players who found scoring relatively easy. A Grade saw a three-way countback on 40 points to decide the winner in Chris Heath off a handicap of 10, followed by Scott Ker and Brett Thompson respectively. Of interest in the A Grade scores were Scott Ker's two under par round, Mark Anderson's par round and Robert Ackling's round where he again beat his age off the stick. In B Grade Peter Jones showed rejuvenated form in posting the best score of the day in 44 points off his handicap of 21 to head Bruce Day by two points. A four-way countback favoured Mark Falconer in third place ahead of Ron Manly, Bob Bennett and Preston Cope.Peter Shakeshaft prevailed in C Grade with 41 points off his handicap of 27 on countback from John Gregs, while Tony Reid took the third position with 37 points on countback from John Hoare. The nearest-the-pin winners were Robert Ackling on both 3 and 9, Robert Coulson on 14 and Peter Elliott on 17, while the ball competition went down to all on 34 points.
SATURDAY 30th NOVEMBER: Windy conditions did not prevent the field of 148 players from posting good scores and A Grade again resulted in a three-way countback, this time on 38 points where Club Captain Andrew Thompson prevailed off a handicap of 10 from Paul Lefel and Brett Thompson (a reprise of Thursday). B Grade was taken out by Peter Elliott with 42 points off his handicap of 19, while the countback favoured Neil Robertson to take second place over Russell Naumann on 40 points. In C Grade Ian Vincent had another victory with 42 points off his handicap of 29. Julie Whyte took second place with 40 points and Greg Coulthart from Callala finished third with 36 points on countback from Lyle Healey.The nearest-the-pin winners were Glenn Mood on 3, Scott Ker on 9, Andrew Thompson on 14 and Michael Turner on 17, while the ball competition went down to 33 points with 17 on the back nine.

Bermagui Ladies Golf Saturday 30th November - 18 hole Stableford: Winner - Brenda Whiffen hcp 26 with 38 pts, Runner up Trady Howarth hcp 34 with 35 pts.
Bermagui Ladies Golf Wednesday 27th November - 18 hole Stableford: The Winner with a lovely score was Norma Heddles hcp 39 with 35pts, runner up was Wendy Chaplin hcp 39 with 34pts. NTP on the 11th was M. Calder and on the 8th K.Hood. This was our end of Year Presentation day with lots of happy ladies receiving a wide range of gift vouchers for there contribution and wins that they had accumulated during the 2019 season of golf.
Bermagui Men
Results for Thursday 28th November 2019 - Stableford. Darren Redman (hcp 14) captured the top spot in A grade today with 39 points. Runner up after a countback was Roy Matthews (hcp 13) shading Noel Flavell (hcp 13) both on 36 points. Peter Robertson (hcp 20) won B grade with 40 points. Michael Derbyshire (hcp 20) was next scoring 37 then came Ross Simpson (hcp 21) on 35 points. The C grade win went to Peter Hanks (hcp 26) with a best of the day 42 points. Runner up was Michael Murray (hcp 23) shading Peter Daykin (hcp 31) both on 38 points.
Results for Saturday 30th November 2019 - Stableford. Michael Pearce (hcp 5) had a best score of the day 40 points to win A grade. John Mills (hcp 14) was next on 38 points. The B grade win went to Bill Tyson (hcp 18) after a countback to Rocky Lagana (hcp 18) both scoring 35 points. The C grade win went to Jochen Adam (hcp 27) with 34 points shading Max Luland (hcp 30) on 33.
Club News: Saturday 7th December will be a stroke competition for the Monthly Medal sponsored by Shane Buckley of Wapengo Oysters.

Tuross Head
Tuross Head men's golf held the 2019 Open Championship tournament this weekend on a course presented in pristine condition and the club catered for a capacity number of players.Played over 36 holes on Saturday and Sunday, local and visiting competitors enjoyed a strong competition.Well known local golfer Leigh Coloe emerged as the club champion with a scratch score of 145 strokes with visiting Campbelltown player Adam Weeks second with 146 strokes.Tuross club members Tony Brown was the overall net championship winner with 134 strokes ahead of Wayne Fullerton, a runner up on 135 strokes.
The championships were held over three divisions and the results are:A grade scratch winner: Glenn Evans 150 strokes, runner up Michael Coulter 153. A grade net winner: Michael Driscoll 140, runner up Mark Haberkorn 140 on a countback. B grade scratch winner: Richard Wharton 177 strokes, runner up Peter Nikolic 177 on a countback. B grade net winner: Reg Apps 141 with Peter McRae runner up on 145 strokes. C grade scratch winner: Steve Johnston 194 strokes, runner up Rob McDonell 195. C grade net winner: Joel Hilliard 141 strokes with Darren Wilmouth runner up on 144.
