Local Narooma residents Jan Boyce and Carolyn Low were awarded highly at last week's presentation night at the Eurobodalla Canine Club.

Both have achieved excellence in their particular dog sport pursuit. During the last twelve months, Jan and her Papillon 'Jasper' have swept all before them, achieving six titles across a variety of competitions.

They have competed in Obedience, Rally O, Conformation and Tracking trials, with success at several levels. To compete in one particular sport takes many hours of training, but Jan has been competing with four dogs and all have gained ANKC recognised titles throughout the past year.

Jan has travelled extensively to compete with her dogs. This level of training, commitment and dedication has seen her win the top award at the Eurobodalla Canine Club of "Best Handler' and 'Obedience Dog of the year.

Carolyn Low with her two dogs 'Trixie and Lazzie' also came away with prestige awards; Most Improved Handler and Encouragement awards, as well as title with 'Trixie' in Rally O.

During the past twelve months our members achieved 36 titles, of which two were of the highest level, being Obedience Champion and Rally O Champion. .

Congratulations to both handlers and their fine troop of canine companions. Wonderful ways to cap off a fantastic year and we look forward to seeing them continue with their pursuits in 2020.
