The woman, now living in a hotel in Moruya, was staying with her live-in carer when the fire hit.
The woman's daughter contacted the volunteer-run organisation, Find A Bed, to see if they could help.
"It's a pretty tough situation, we're really keen to get her sorted," Find A Bed founder Erin Riley said.
The family hoped a property owner might offer space with an accessible bathroom.
The organisation could also fund installation to make a bathroom accessible if necessary, Ms Riley said.
During two weeks of organising housing for bushfire victims, Ms Riley saw the lack of available housing on the South Coast.
She said a Batemans Bay family of seven, including three children living with disabilities, were desperate to find a place, but couldn't.
They were living in a two-bedroom cabin in a holiday park after their house burnt down.
Meanwhile, there were empty holiday houses all over the coast.
"It's really concerning," she said.
The organisation started on New Year's Eve, when the firestorm destroyed more than 450 homes on the Eurobodalla Shire, and took lives on the South Coast.
The organisation matched displaced people with those who could host.
It could be for the medium term, short term, a night or even just a shower.
She said most of the work was on the South Coast, but 8500 people across the world had offered to host, including in the USA and Europe.
Now the immediate threat of the bushfires were over, Ms Riley said the organisation would work towards recovery support.
That included long-term accommodation and resources for rebuilding.
"What we don't want is for communities to be inundated with things they don't need," she said.
"We source things locally when we can."
The organisation is made up of 50 volunteers.
