The Animal Welfare League (AWL) NSW Eurobodalla is holding a Giant Car Boot Sale again on Sunday, March 8, at NATA Oval, Narooma. Sellers admitted at 7am. $15 per car load; $20 for Ute or trailer - cars must be out of the Oval by 8am. Buyers admitted from 8:30am.

Narooma View Club
The Narooma View Club held its AGM on Friday, February 28 and the new committee was elected. Shirley Gunter (publicity officer), Ann Alexander (hostess), Anne Comery (Zone councillor from Eden), Carlien Donnon (secretary), Helen Hayes (vice president/delegate), Barbara Pearce (treasurer) Julie Nicholls (assistant treasurer), Glen Pisanos (president) and Moira Cusack (assistant secretary). Everyone is looking forward to the year ahead.
Narooma Legacy women
A friendly reminder that the March Legacy luncheon is on Friday, Dalmeny Bowling Club, 12 noon for 12.30pm. Come along, have a nice lunch and a chat. New members are most welcome. Enquiries, Lucy on 4476 7760.
Narooma Dalmeny Kianga Garden Club
The first meeting of the year was well attended and guest speaker, Keith Mundy advised on the care of our gardens following the damage caused by the drought and fallout from the bushfires. Preparing for autumn, and being aware of the garden pests and diseases which will emerge following recent rain were also discussed. An outline of our activities for 2020 will ensure an active and interesting year for all members.
As usual our March 11 meeting is at Club Narooma at 1.30 pm, and new members will be most welcome to attend. Guest speaker is Kathryn Watson, who will be demonstrating a range of quality garden tools. Flowers of the month are hibiscus and nasturtium. Don't forget "best in my garden" and plants and cuttings for our trading table. Afternoon tea to be supplied by L - Z please. "Friendship through gardening"
Eurobodalla Orchid Club
At the first meeting for 2020 of the Eurobodalla Orchid Club, Sue Carroll was presented her award for Reserve Champion & Champion Species at the 2019 South & West Regional Show by vice president Jean Swindley. Her winning orchid was Soph. coccinea.
The next meeting is on Wednesday, March 11 at the CWA Hall, Queen Street, Moruya. Jean Swindley will tell us how she grows Sarcochilus, a lovely native orchid. Doors open 6.30pm, benching of flowering orchids by 7pm. Please bring supper to share. Visitors and new members are most welcome.
