Nearly three months ago, Narooma Dog Training Club (NDTC), along with all other social and sporting clubs, our favourite cafes, the local libraries, gyms and a host of retail outlets, ceased operation due to the unseen but very real threat of a COVID-19 pandemic.
NDTC's last Saturday of dog training took place on March 14.
We know that everyone is keen to get back to classes not just to train, but to reconnect with friends.
We also know that there are new faces and new four-legged friends, eager to sign up for our programs of Obedience, Agility and Rally O training.
Please be patient; we will be back in operation very soon.
All volunteers and handlers will be asked to take extra precautions, such as hand sanitizing and the 1.5 metre distancing rule ... meantime, stay well and enjoy June - it is a great time for rugging up against the chilly wind and taking your best friend for a walk.

Eurobodalla Shire Council is reopening parks and sporting facilities, and restrictions are slowly being lifted, although good social distancing is still a "must do".
To ensure that everyone who attends NDTC stays well and remains COVID-safe, the NDTC executive committee will be introducing some new procedures around sign in, registration and management of class sizes.
We are keen to comply with the NSW Government and Council's Covid-safe guidelines so all volunteers and handlers will be asked to take extra precautions, such as hand sanitizing and the 1.5 metre distancing rule - just as we all now do in the supermarket.
Whilst we prepare for this new reality, we ask you to please continue watching this space for announcement of an official re-start of NDTC.
We will also email all handlers already registered for 2020 and post details on the NDTC Facebook page.
You are also welcome to ring the NDTC mobile 0458 953 281 for information, 9am-5pm weekdays.
Meantime, stay well and enjoy June - it is a great time for rugging up against the chilly wind and taking your best friend for a walk.
