Narooma women played a stableford on what started out rainy and cold. It soon turned into a beautiful day.
Jayne Hotchkis played a brilliant game posting 37 points off her handicap of 10 to win A grade.
Runner up was Sylvia Donohoe posting 31 points off her handicap of 3. Meridie Banson was third posting 28 points.
Bec Smart was the winner of B grade posting 35 points off her handicap of 19. Close behind was Kay Lawrence with 34 points off her handicap of 16.
Diane Wilkes was third posting 33 points.
Ann Durnan was the winner of C grade posting 35 points off her handicap of 40. On a count back was Robyn Giblett off her handicap of 38
Lesley Heath posted 34 points.
Wednesday, June 17
A total of 36 ladies participated in a Stableford event.
Ris Cheale was the winner with 37 stableford points on a handicap of 30.
Jan Boxsell was runner up, also with 37 stableford points on a handicap of 25.
In third place was Marlene Hunt with 37 stableford points on a handicap of 44
Balls went to 31 OCB.
Wednesday, June 10
42 ladies participated in our first competition on Wednesday 10th June since the COVID19 lockdown.
Some great scores were recorded with Robyn Giblett, off handicap of 40, turned in a fabulous score of 38 stableford pts.
Sylvia Donohoe off handicap of 3, also had a fabulous score of 37 stableford pts.
Our club champion Sylvia achieved something that we all strive for in golf - a hole in one on the 17th.
Vicki Ward off handicap of 42, with another fabulous score of 36 stableford pts.
Balls went to 31 OCB.
Thursday, June 25
A field of 130 players enjoyed a very pleasant winter's day and again found the course to their liking. In A Grade Robert Coulson finished on top with 39 points off his handicap of 14, followed by Shaun Martyn who edged out Bill Durnan on 37 points on countback to take second place. B Grade saw a three-way countback on 38 points and the numbers fell in favour of David Hayward off his handicap of 17 ahead of Kevin Seamons and Lyle Healey. In C Grade Julian Poulter posted the best score of the day with 41 points off his handicap of 23, followed by Stewart Murray on 37 points who thereby completed the trifecta of podium finishes in the week. Steve Cummins took the third position with 36 points on countback from Denis Davies and Bill Cartwright. The ball competition went down to all on 32 points.
Saturday, June 27
Again the large field of 166 players made the extra effort to finish their rounds in a respectable time. A Grade was taken out by Chris Eardley with 38 points off his handicap of 14, albeit on countback from Glenn Mood. Jayne Hotchkis finished in third place with 37 points. In B Grade John Hasler needed a favourable countback to win from Greg Riley after scoring 40 points off his handicap of 22. Darcy Sealey took the third position with 39 points on countback from Tony Hunt. C Grade was the third grade where the winner was decided by countback, this time for Robert Brown with 40 points off his handicap of 29 ahead of Norm Baxendale. Ris Cheale finished in third place with 37 points. The ball competition went down to 32 points with 16 on the way home. RGI
