Saturday, July 11 - Regular Association Croquet matches: Scarborough Singles Game (yellow ball wild): Janet Jones played superbly to win by scoring 13 against Pauline Wilcock 3 and Len Favier 3. Six Ball Singles Game: Although tiring after an exhausting program of matches during the week, and limited by time, Janet Jones edged ahead to again win, scoring 7 against Pauline Wilcock 4 and Len Favier 3. Golf Croquet - July 16. After the hurley-burley of the previous week's all-day tournament a relatively quiet day of regular golf croquet matches was conducted. Six players participated in a mixture of singles and doubles pairings playing out five games. Pearl Hanson won both her games when playing in a doubles pairing and Louise Starkie put in a bold performance in all her three games. Janet Jones and Len Favier were both successful in winning as a doubles combination and also when each was playing solo, although their pairing was almost toppled by Jean Phillips playing solo in game 3. This means that Janet Jones has prevailed as the tournament winner with Christine Stent being placed second and Len Favier finishing as wooden-spooner after Pearl Hanson. Saturday, July 18 - Annual Championship Singles Association Croquet (level handicap) matches: Rounds 1 and 2 of the singles championship were conducted, with the following results: Janet Jones played superbly to win in scoring the maximum points of 26 against Len Favier who tallied 13 points, all within the two hour allocated time limit.
