Organiser Christina Potts said the event was a great COVID-safe way for people to get "out and about".
"The whole community is invited to take part in an interactive educational walk along the spectacular waterfront from Rotary Park in Narooma, across the bridge and along the Mill Bay Boardwalk to Apex Park at Bar Beach," she said.
"Along the way you will be able to learn about the many and varied ways that technology is helping to manage, protect and enjoy our Marine Environment. Participants will be able to interact with virtual multimedia presentations from a wide range of user groups using QR codes on temporary signage along the route.
Confirmed presenters include:
- Sea Health Products - Discussion on Kelp as a future resource and climate change comrade!
- Nature Coast Marine Group - Lean about unique diversity of coastal marine biodiversity.
- Batemans Marine Park- Understand the diverse habitats that make up the Wagonga Inlet
- ESC Marine Debris Group - Become empowered on ways that YOU can make a difference!
- Underwater Safaris - Take a glimpse into the world below the water level.
- UnderseaROV - a marine robotics and tech company specializing in mapping and documenting our Coastal Reef -
"This list will grow," Ms Potts said.
"Walkers will need a phone with a camera to activate the QR codes that will direct you to the videos or other multimedia content. Walk at your own pace in your own time.
