10.53am: Police have confirmed a person has died at the scene of a collision between a truck and another vehicle on the Princes Highway north of Batemans Bay. The accident was reported in wet conditions at about 9am between Cullendulla and Durras Drives.

All motorists travelling south from Wollongong and Nowra towards Batemans Bay must use alternative routes. Those travelling north from Batemans Bay must use alternative routes. The highway is closed in both directions and a crime scene established.
10.45: A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said a 57-year-old woman and 66-year-old man had been taken to Batemans Bay Hospital. The woman was understood to be suffering facial injuries and possible chest and lower limb injuries. The man was understood to have shoulder and chest injuries and leg pain.
10am: A NSW Police spokesperson said the highway was closed in both directions and was likely to remain so for at least two hours.
9.46am: A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said a 57-year old female was being treated at the scene for minor facial injuries after a crash between a truck and a car on the Princes Highway on Saturday, August 8.
It is understood a male truck driver remains trapped and crews are working to release him.
9.31am: A person has been reported trapped at the scene of a serious crash on the Princes Highway north of Batemans Bay.
Live Traffic reports the crash occurred between Cullendulla Drive and Durras Drive and was reported at about 9am.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
